Chicken Drumsticks With Green And Red Pepper
Ingredients:
- 3 drumsticks
- 1 green pepper (medium size)
- 1 red pepper (medium size)
- 4 pieces of mashed garlic
- soy sauce to taste
- a dash of sugar
- salt to taste
Instructions:
Wash the drumsticks, remove all the fat and marinate the drumsticks with ingredients 4, 5 and 6. Leave it aside for 20 minutes. Cut the green and red pepper lengthwise into a few pieces. Preheat about 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the drumsticks for a few minutes. Pour some water (just enough to cover the drumsticks) into the mixture, lower down the fire and let it boil for about 10 minutes till the drumsticks are cooked. Then add ingredients 2 and 3, let it boil and add some salt (to your taste), dish it up to serve.
Steam Chicken Drumsticks With Oyster Sauce
Ingredients:
- 4 drumsticks
- 1 ½ tablespoons of oyster sauce
- one small ginger (cut into thin slices)
- a tablespoon of scallion
- salt to taste
Instructions:
Wash the drumsticks and remove all the fat. Preheat about 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the drumsticks till the color changes. Add ingredient 2 and 3 and fry again. Pour some water, enough to cover the mixture, add salt (to your taste) and stew the mixture under a low fire till the drumsticks are fully cooked. Dish out and sprinkle ingredient 4 on it. It is ready to be served.
Roast Chicken Drumsticks
Ingredients:
- 8 drumsticks
- 5 red chillies (remove seeds)
- 5 pieces garlic
- cinnamon (half-an inch piece)
- peppercorns to taste
- salt to taste
Instructions:
Ground ingredients 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 together. Wash the drumsticks and remove all the fat. Place the drumsticks into a roasting tin. Apply the grounded spices onto the drumsticks all over evenly and put the roasting tin into the oven to roast the drumsticks at a temperature of 400 degrees F for about 30 minutes or till it is done. Dish out and serve while hot.
